Free tool · The ICP grader
A forecast built on the wrong accounts is fiction before the first call. Score each account 1–5 on the five dimensions your best customers share and let it grade them A, B or C. Then point your reps’ time at the top band.
The grading runs entirely in your browser. Free version: up to 5 accounts on preset weights, anchored to best practice. Grade bands: A ≥ 4.0, B ≥ 3.0, C below.
Score each account 1–5 on each dimension. A 5 is never a feeling — it’s something you could show a sceptic. If you’re between two numbers, take the lower one; the grade should survive the pressure-test.
Firmographic
Does the company look like your best customers — size, ARR band, sector, geography?
1 = wrong size or market entirely · 5 = a near-twin of the accounts you’ve already won
Use case
Do they have the problem you solve?
1 = you’d have to convince them they have it · 5 = they’ve described it in their own words, and your product solves it outright
Trigger / timing
Is there a reason to buy now?
1 = no event, no timeline · 5 = a live trigger: new funding, new leader in seat, a missed number, a hard deadline
Economic
Can they pay what it’s worth?
1 = no budget and the price would be a stretch · 5 = funded budget and a cost of doing nothing they can quantify
Access
Can you reach the people who decide?
1 = no route to the buyer · 5 = a warm path to the economic buyer, not just a user
